$500 added Stallion Maturity 2 day average Sidepot to any horse of any age who IS A or IS BY a Northern Lights Nominated Stallion.

To be in the Draw – Entry Deadline - RECEIVED by Sunday August 28th Noon

Open Entry Fees $50.00 per horse/per day – You can enter just one day – minimum 80% payback –Standard NBHA payout percentages used
Youth Entry Fees $25.00 per horse/per day- You can enter just one day – minimum 80% payback –Standard NBHA payout percentages used
PeeWee’s are free – enter on Race Day only – 10 and under
-All horses will pay 1 time $13 facility fee. Horses cross entered in the Futurity/Derby or Race for the Cure will not be charged again.
-Draw will be posted on Monday Aug 29th
-Individuals cross entering Open/Youth must carry times from Youth into Open
-Stalling must be booked with entries
-Late Entries accepted in cash only with a $10.00 late fee up to 1 hour prior to the start time both days – You will run at the bottom of the draw both days
-Futurity & Derby Contestants who are entered in the Summer’s End Sizzler will be allowed to carry their long go times into the jackpot each day. – A carry over slip must be submitted to the office a minimum of 1 hour prior to the start of the Futurity/Derby to carry your time.
-Contestants entering Ashern Manitoba MRCA/CCA rodeo will be allowed to take both of their runs in 1 day to avoid a conflict with the rodeo. Any contestants who need to take both of their runs on Saturday will run in their normal draw position, and then again following the completion of the first go. Sunday conflicts will run first at 4:45pm, and then the Second go will begin, and you will run in your drawn position. Order of go for conflicts will be randomly drawn.
Contestants must be present or have a designated individual available to receive their awards. Both days Payout will be done on Sunday September 3rd approximately 1 hour following the Buckle presentation.

BARREL RACING RULES
• Open to all entrants, all breeds, and grade horses. Men or women may ride.
• Open 4D with ½ second splits (5D if over 200 entries) Youth 3D with 1 second splits (4D with ½, ½, 1 Second splits if more than 50 entries)
• Each horse may only be entered in the Open event once, and Youth event once.
• Horses wishing to enter in the Stallion Maturity Sidepot must send in a copy of registration papers with entry.
• If a contestant competes out of turn, he/she will receive a No Time.
• An electric timer will be used for all runs, with a backup timer. Should both timers malfunction, a rerun will be granted at the end of the go.
• Hats lost in the Arena will result in a $10 hat fine, payable to CancerCare Manitoba.
• There will be no reruns if a horse falls.
• 45 gallon metal barrels, containing both ends, will be used.
• No signs, banners or posters shall be displayed without prior approval of the event committee.
• A horse/rider combination cannot change draw position under any circumstance.
• Any questions or disputes that may arise during the show, not covered by the rules set out here, will be settled by the show committee, whose decision will be final.
• An owner may enter any number of horses, and a rider may ride any number of horses.
• Running Order will be random draw, and is considered final
• Western Dress Code will be in place
• Inhumane treatment of horses will not be tolerated – in the arena, stabling area, or on the grounds – and will result in disqualification.
• Not following the clover-leaf pattern will result in a no time. Broken pattern shall be defined as breaking the forward motion to retrace the tracks to finish the pattern or making more than the three turns of the clover-leaf pattern or crossing the finish line prior to completion of the run. A contestant that runs by a barrel and has to back up or turn around and retrace their tracks, would be considered a broken pattern.
• Prior to the performances, the barrels shall not be set on the stakes or markers, unless done so by the committee
• Payout shall be determined by entries received.
• Horse/Rider substitutions will be allowed until registration closes.
• By submitting your entry fees, you agree to the release of Liability Waiver as stated

By submitting payment, I (We) hereby make application to enter the Summer’s End Sizzler Sponsored by Interval Timing.com, subject to the rules of the event. Rules, of which I (we) have read, and agree to the provisions contained therein as a part of this contract, I (we) agree to indemnify and hold the Committee, the Keystone Agricultural Centre, producer from any claims rising out of participation in this event. It is understood and agreed that participants will be solely responsible for any consequential or other loss, injury, or damage incurred while participating in this event.
